Authentication

We prioritize guaranteeing the legitimacy of our sneakers. Our authentication specialists examine each shoe that passes through our validation center. Our physical inspection takes into account details like material, stitching, color, labeling, overall condition, packaging, and any extra items.

Two-Factor Authentication

We are the first and only business in Europe to apply two-factor authentication to our items. This includes our own authenticators and a third-party digital authentication service to ensure the genuineness of each item.

Quality Control

Our team ensures that new or used products included on Grailshub and that each item matches its listing, guaranteeing customers receive what they expect.

Community Guidelines

We have established a set of rules that all members must agree to and follow in order for the community to truly thrive.

Respect: Show respect to other members in this community as if you were trading with them in person. Treat them how you would like to be treated.

Make reasonable offers: It is important to distinguish between an offer that is achievable and one that is ridiculous. Although market price should not be the sole consideration, disregarding it may lead to offers that are not taken seriously.

Communicate with people: If you're not satisfied with the offer, you can use the chat to try and negotiate a better deal, or simply decline the trade.

Don't harass people: Negotiations should be conducted in a respectful manner; any verbal harassment, threats, or attacks upon another member will not be tolerated, nor will any form of hate speech. Trade spamming is also not allowed and will result in an immediate ban.

Report issues to Grailshub: If you encounter any behaviour from a member which is concerning or violates our Community Guidelines, please report them through our platform. They won't be notified that you have done so. We keep close track of all reports of harassment and will take any necessary action against people who continually disregard our rules. We take full responsibility for ensuring an enjoyable experience for all users and all sneakers traded on our platform.

We reserve the right to temporarily freeze your account if you don't adhere to our Community Guidelines. If we receive continued reports of inappropriate behavior, you may be permanently removed from the Grailshub family.

Validation

How long do trades take to finish?: Once an agreement to trade has been made, each partner will have a certain amount of time to send their shoes to our validation site. Generally, trades take 10-15 business days to finalize. This may take longer in some cases, depending on the distance of the parcels from and to our validation centers in Europe. We'll keep you updated at key moments throughout the process via email notifications.

*Delays may be experienced when trading during a holiday period.

How should the condition of the sneakers be listed?: Only deadstock. Deadstock refers to sneakers that are brand new, unworn and complete with all original packaging and accessories.

How is authentication handled?: Our experienced authenticators guarantee that every piece we handle is thoroughly checked before being sent to its new owner. We examine the material, structure, stitching, color, tags, and labeling of every item carefully
Additionally, we use a third-party authentication service to digitally inspect the items and provide our members with further assurance.
In the event of any uncertainty concerning authenticity, we will deny the trade, return all items to their original owners. We would rather decline a genuine item than pass on a fake one.

Can you add cash on top of a trade already in process?: Once a trade has been created, you are not able to add cash or modify your offer. You can always reject and start from scratch.

What happens if my sneakers authentication fail?: The validation process consists of 2 steps:

  • Quality Control: to guarantee that there are no imperfections, factory faults or problems on the shoes which have not been stated in the trade. Authentication: to confirm that the shoes that we have obtained are completely genuine.
  • At Grailshub, we take authentication very seriously. If your shoes do not pass our authentication process, no services, fees or shipping costs will be refunded. Hundreds of sneakerheads trust our two-way authentication system to ensure they are receiving genuine sneakers. Therefore, we reserve the right to delete your listings, cancel your transactions, and temporarily or permanently block your account if you attempt to send us fake sneakers.

Do I get a refund if my sneakers pass the validation process but the other traders don’t?: Yes. If the other trader's sneakers do not meet our validation criteria, and yours do, you will receive a refund of your trade fees within 7-10 business days to your original form of payment. You can check the status of the payment in our platform.
Your sneakers will then get shipped back out to you and you will receive a tracking number via email once it has been shipped out.

What notifications do we receive about the trade?: You will receive email notifications at each step of the validation process:

  • Are pending for shipping process
  • Sent to our validation center
  • Verification process
  • Sent to new owners

Shipping

After validation, when will my sneakers ship out?: After you and the other trader's sneakers have passed the validation process, it will usually take 1-4 business days before they are shipped. During holiday periods, the wait may be extended to 3-6 business days.

How long do I have to ship my sneakers?: Once a trade has been agreed, you have from 1-3 days to have ready the sneakers to be picked up by our shipping company. You must include the shipping label sent by email when the trade is finished outside the container box.
Please do not use any 3rd-party companies when shipping.

How should I ship if I’m trading one or more sneakers in a trade?: Either if you send one sneaker or multiple sneakers, they have to be placed only in one shipping box.

If you send one sneaker the maximum size for the container box should be 40x30x20.

If you send two sneakers the maximum size for the container box should be 40x30x40.

If you send three sneakers the maximum size for the container box should be 40x30x60.

What happens if I don't ship my sneakers?: Once a trade is accepted, all members are given a certain number of days to ship their shoes. If they fail to do so, the trade will be canceled without any refunds for services, fees, and shipping costs.
Do not initiate or agree to any trades unless you are able to fulfil them.
 

I don’t have the shoes that I want to trade yet, what should I do?: We are delighted that you are enthusiastic to trade your sneakers on Grailshub. However, please make sure you only trade shoes you possess. We do not recommend making or accepting offers if you do not currently have the shoes, as there is a risk of not getting a refund if you are unable to ship them.

Cash

What is the cash and where does my cash go?: Grailshub provides an extra cash payment method to balance the trade. That extra cash will be paid when one of the parties accept the offer, Grailshub will receive that money and transfer to the correct party using the bank account provided by the user. No fees or cost will be added to that extra cash, users will receive the complete transaction in their bank account.

How long does it take for the money to transfer to my bank account?: Cash typically takes 5-10 business days to reach your bank account after the trade is finished. If you have not received your money after that duration of time, please contact us at support@grailshub.com.
